The Bonas brokerage firm will hold its fourth colored gemstone auction Traditionally a diamond tender house, the company will present about 500 lots of colored gemstones at the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel from Saturday, September 14, to Wednesday, September 18, 2019, parallel to the September Hong Kong Gem and Jewellery Fair. The exclusive tender features approximately 500 lots of rubies and sapphires, both heated and unheated; Paraiba tourmaline; tanzanite; tsavorite; alexandrite and other colored gemstones.

Following tender sales in Hong Kong and Thailand, this will be Bonas' fourth coloured stone tender. This year, the company also brought Sugilite to market, a purple colored gemstone, holding  two sugilite tenders in Hong Kong.

Unlike traditional auctions, tenders have no listed selling price; nor extra fees such as the buyer's premium. It's a structured invitation for buyers to submit one highest bid only, thus, enabling traders to purchase at true market value.

The bidding process is bailiff supervised and conducted on a dedicated password protected online platform. Participation in next month's Hong Kong gemstone tender is on a registration-only basis. To register or schedule a viewing, contact Henry Lam at

henrylam@bonasgroup.com . The sale will close on 19th September at 15:30 Hong Kong time and will be an online highest bid tender via www.bonascolouredgems.com.
