CHINA HRC: Exporters cut prices to stimulate buying

China's hot-rolled coil exporters lowered their offer prices on Tuesday November 13 to stimulate sales despite domestic prices being largely stable.

DomesticEastern China (Shanghai): 3,800-3,820 yuan ($546-548) per tonne, narrowing downward by 10 yuan per tonneNorthern China (Tianjin): 3,820-3,840 yuan per tonne, unchangedTrading activity was moderate during the day after prices slumped a day earlier. Transactions were mostly being concluded around 3,800-3,810 yuan per tonne in the morning in Shanghai. But after trading activity picked up in the afternoon, a few buyers were willing to pay 3,820 yuan per tonne for materials.The situation was similar in Tianjin, with prices holding steady at just above 3,800 yuan...
