JCK Accolades Honor Innovative Designers

RAPAPORT... JCK presented awards to winners of two design competitionsduring this year's Las Vegas show. Seven jeweler designers received a prize at the LuxuryDesign Awards, honoring designers and manufacturers who are innovative andoriginal, while displaying imagination and excellence in craftsmanship, JCKsaid Monday. Luxury partnered with six jewelry retailers to selectwinners for each category. All honorees receive a trunk show at the retailstore that represents their category, as well as media coverage through JCK. Meanwhile, JCK presented the Design Center Editor's ChoiceAwards to exhibitors who combine new trends with classic ideas. Designerssubmitted one piece that best represents their brand. The entries were reviewedbefore the show by a panel of editors from consumer and trade publications,who voted for their first, second and third choices. The top three in eachcategory could display their pieces in person in the press office during theJCK show.
