Sarine Pens Deal to Boost CanadaMark Traceability

Dominion Diamond Mines will integrate the Sarine DiamondJourney into its CanadaMark website, enabling consumers to track thedevelopment of their diamonds from mine to retail, Sarine Technologies saidrecently.The system was launched on the miner's website atthe Hong Kong International Jewellery Show earlier in March, providing imagesof the diamond through its journey along the supply chain. Customers also haveaccess to images from the stone's Sarine Profile report, the technology companyadded.Sarine believes its position in the market helps set its program apart, as tens of millions of stones are polished using its rough-planning systems. That enables consumers to see the diamond depicted across all its manufacturing stages, the company noted."For a diamond producer to launch comprehensivedocumentation of the diamond's journey in the striking visual format thatDominion has implemented is sure to set a new standard in consumer transparency,"said Sarine CEO David Block.
