Tony Barresi, V.P. Exploration of Triumph Gold, a junior miner acquired by Goldcorp, gives insights on the techniques exploration companies can use to profit in Yukon.
"There are so many types of deposit models that could cause near surface gold, and then something a little bit lower grade but much higher tonnage beneath that." Barresi told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Yukon Mining Investment Conference in Dawson City.
"And if you're able to apply those new models to the abundance of areas that have seen near surface gold exploration in the Yukon, people are going to start finding stuff," he said.
