UC Rusal saw an 18.6% year-on-year increase in its third-quarter earnings due to a recovery in sales after the extension of the company's general licenses by the United States Department of Treasury, the aluminium producer said.
The company's quarterly earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) rose to $2.92 billion in the July-September 2018 period, up from $2.46 billion in the corresponding period of 2017.
