The inter-merchant spot price for light iron scrap in the UK was unchanged in the week ended Friday November 29, based on a steady increase in European export prices to Turkey and regular demand from major British shredders, trade sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel scrap 5C, loose old light, domestic, delivered inter-merchant, UK, was unchanged at ?75-90 ($97-116) per tonne on Friday. The market has been steady for two consecutive weeks.
