VEGOILS-Market factors to watch April 19

The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Tuesday, recording a fifth consecutive session of losses, weighed down by forecasts of rising output and tracking weaker performing rival oils. POI/

* U.S. soybean futures fell on Tuesday for the second day in a row, hitting a one-week low as traders locked in profits from last week's rally. GRA/

* Oil prices fell on Tuesday, then slid more in post-settlement trade after an industry group reported that U.S. crude stockpiles fell less than expected in the latest week while gasoline stockpiles grew unseasonably. O/R

* Sterling stole the show in Asia on Wednesday amid speculation Britain's surprise decision to call a snap election could ultimately deliver a more market-friendly outcome in its divorce from the European Union. MKTS/GLOB
