ArcherExploration Limited (ASX:AXE) has today announced the findings of technicalanalysis undertaken at the world-class Australian Centre forMicroscopy & Microanalysis at The University of Sydney. The analysisfocused on the structural and physical properties of graphite samples sourcedfrom its Campoona graphite deposit, via viewing individual carbon atoms at anatomic scale.

Theanalysis found that the intrinsic physical properties of AXE's graphite is suitablefor use in batteries and the production of graphene. Further, the high qualityof the graphite is maintained even after mechanical and chemical processing.

Theresults confirmed the structure of the Campoona graphite lattice closelymatches the ideal theoretical crystalline structure for graphite, with samplesconsistently showing a high degree of crystallinity clearly visible in theelectron microscope images.

Themethod involved nano-scale and atomic-scale analysis of representative, processed samples of AXE graphite materials extracted from Campoona, usingvarious techniques such as JEOL3000F Transmission Electron Microscope. A keyobjective of the analysis was to investigate the "'structural integrity andquality of the graphite samples that had undergone mechanical and chemicaltreatment to yield 99%+ total graphitic content", according to the company.

It's worth noting that AXEis an early stage play and investors should seek professional financial adviceif considering this company for their portfolio.

Themicroscopic images demonstrated, at an atomic level, the high quality of AXE'sgraphite, with minimal defects; this is critical for AXE considering it isimportant for battery applications and high-quality graphene production usinggraphitic feedstocks.

Importantly,AXE can now utilise the positive findings in discussions with potentialoff-take partners as well as end users.

ArcherCEO Mohammad Choucair commented: "This is an exciting development for Archerand it confirms our view that we are capable of producing high quality graphitefrom our Campoona deposit. These excellent results will greatly assist theability for us to market our material to potential customers and end users.

"Togetherwith atomic-scale imaging of our graphite, we also performed a number ofmicroscopic, spectroscopic and physical property technical analyses to capturea complete picture of the material quality.

"Theability to obtain atom-level insights using Archer's in-house expertise isunique and sets Archer apart from other companies. This technical data is nowavailable to potential offtake partners and customers ready to integrate ourmaterials in high-volume applications down-stream.

"Atthe most fundamental level, this work shows the graphite sourced from Campoona, after mechanical and chemical processing, retains its high structuralintegrity. We are confident in our capability to produce high quality graphitewhich is also suitable for high-value graphene production."
