CNMC's 120k-tpy DRC blister copper facility to launch in 2020

China Nonferrous Mining Corp's (CNMC) Lualaba copper smelter will launch in 2020 and produce 120,000 tonnes of blister copper annually in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the company said on Monday.

Construction of the $440 million smelter officially began on March 28 in the suburb of Lualaba province, according to the statement.
