JERUSALEM, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Israel's year-on-year inflation rate rose for the fourth straight month in December, data from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed on Monday.
The consumer price index showed prices gained 0.4 percent from a year earlier versus a 0.3 percent increase in November. Analysts polled by Reuters had predicted a 0.3 percent rise.
Inflation for 2017 as a whole was also 0.4 percent, as prices in the full year rose for the first time since 2013.
Prices fell 0.2 percent in 2016.
