Tommy Fleetwood broke the course record at Carnoustie to join defending champion Tyrrell Hatton at the top of the leaderboard after two days of the 2017 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.The then Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex leader was playing his first event since the birth of son Franklin and celebrated with a 63 to get to 11 under.That moved him alongside fellow Englishman Hatton who fired a 65 around the same layout.Fleetwood birdied the second, fourth and sixth but really came to life as he made five birdies in a row from the 11th. After gains on the 11th and 12th, he hit an excellent tee-shot into the par three 13th and holed from 15 feet.The 14th was proving extremely gettable and the 26 year old took advantage of the par five before hitting the pin for a tap-in on the next. He nearly holed from the edge of the green on the 16th before an eight-footer on the last put him in the history books.?-?
